This 2010 for the Ducati looks some big transformation in form of the machine they used for years is to change the screamer into big bang’s specification.
Honda also use big bang machine for their prototype in motoGP but since Mick Doohan and Nicky Hayden for the last time took the championship for 2006, Honda was never again closed to the title.
The big bang machine are softer than screamer and used for years by Yamaha and Honda. Now,both Yamaha and Ducati use the same machine for 2010 MotoGP championship battle and let me predict by taking the specification below of M1 and GP10 :
Yamaha YZR-M1 2010
Rider | Valentino Rossi |
Engine type | Liquid Cooled,4-Stroke,4-Cylinder |
Maximum speed | 320 km/h |
Maximum power | Over 200 horsepower or 147 Kw |
Suspension | Ohlins for rear shock and front fork |
Ducati Desmocidi GP10
Rider | Casey Stoner |
Engine type | Liquid cooled,4-Stroke,DOHC,4-Cylinder |
Maximum speed | 310 kph / 192 mph |
Maximum power | more than 200 horsepower |
Suspension | Ohlins for rear shock and front fork 48 mm |
Honda RC212V 2010
Rider | Dani Pedrosa |
Engine type | Liquid cooled,4-Stroke,DOHC 4V |
Maximum speed | - |
Maximum power | over 155 kw |
Suspension | Telescopic fork,and rear Pro-Link shock |
From two previous pre-season test in Sepang,Honda riders both Pedrosa and Dovisiozo have not enough speed to reach Yamaha and Ducati riders.
Suzuki GSV-R 2010
Rider | Loris Capirossi |
Engine type | 4-Stroke water cooled V4 |
Maximum speed | 330 km/h |
Maximum power | 225+ ps / 18.000 rpm |
Suspension | Ohlins telescopic front fork, rear Ohlins link type |
Loris “Capirex” Capirossi still with rizla+ suzuki motoGP team means he was a good veteran rider for his team. Hopes this season will be better than last season so we see not only four but more than riders could give their best performance to all motoGP fans over the world.
