Monster Yamaha Tech 3 riders so far

Two seasons for Colin Edwards have a team mate taken from the World Superbike (WSBK) rider after his contract for the Fiat Yamaha Team ends.
The first rider we know was James Toseland from the 2009 previous season he was not stable because some time he make a mistake like crash and the worse of all when he “jump start”, but from the beginning till the end of 2009 race he was not very good.
This yearspies Colin “the Texas Tornado” Edwards got the second team mate – give him Ben Spies as the 2009 WSBK Championship rider. From the first session in Sepang for pre-season test show him was a good and adaptable rider for his new prototype bike which very different from his Yamaha YZR-R1 that use for world superbike race. Here are the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 rider’s timesheet record from their first out of pre-season test in Sepang – Qatar :
Sepang – Malaysia (first session) :
04-02-2010 Colin Edwards (5th) and Ben Spies (12th)
05-02-2010 Colin Edwards (7th) and Ben Spies (5th)
Sepang – Malaysia (second session) :
25-02-2010 Colin Edwards (6th) and Spies (5th)
26-02-2010 Edwards (4th) and Spies (5th)
Qatar (third – final session) :
18-03-2010 Spies (3rd) and Edwards (4th)
19-03-2010 Spies (10th) and Edwards (8th)
Spies like he talk to motoGP : “I know this track (Qatar) from the last year but riding under the floodlights is definitely a bit different and nothing I’ve experienced before. I know the track but any track I go to on a motoGP bike definitely makes it different because of the lines you take. He said that he was did a successful test and leave with confident so can return in competitive race next month.”
The Texan Colin Edwards said to motoGP : “We’ve got some work to do because I just didn’t feel as comfortable on the bike as I did last year, mainly with the front-end. He added : “I know I go good at this track because I had a good race last year and finished fourth.”
